This was our very first trip to Maine, and our mission was to spot a moose. Harold King made that happen! He had time to fit in a fishing charter first, and we caught a salmon and 4 lake trout. Harold cleaned and filleted our catch, and told us how to fry it. That was another new experience for us, dining on the fresh fish that we caught! We were all uncertain if we were going to spot moose because of the prolonged heat and dryness in the area. Harold made it happen, and there was no doubt from us that he gave it 150%. Harold is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We gained valuable insight about the animals here and their habitat, and how important it is for us to preserve it. Best guide in the Moosehead area! Harold took us on our very first trolling fishing tour and tended to all our fishing needs. He is an incredibly passionate and down-to-earth individual who oozes enthusiasm when talking about his love for moose and wildlife in the area. We had THE BEST experience thanks to Amber! The days prior to our tour we drove around for hours on our own and didn't see anything. We were bummed, but Amber turned that around. We ended up seeing 7 on our tour, including an unbelievable, up-close encounter. We spent 15 minutes with the curious cow below. Amber is easy to be around, knowledgeable and truly loves her job.
