Harold, owner of Moosehead Area Guide Service is the real deal! I have been salt water fishing for 35 years with my own captains license and I can tell you that Harold exemplifies excellence in fishing and captaining his very sharp proline boat. He worked very hard to get us in the fish and showed us how talented he is by hooking us up 11 times. We landed 7 beautiful fish, 2 salmon and 5 lake trout. 1 salmon was the largest one I've ever seen. Unbelievably, Harold invited us back to his office to clean our fish and even cook it for us. An incredible gesture. We would highly recommend Moosehead Area Guide Service to anyone interested in professional guided tours. Wow! What a great time we had with Captain Harold. My kids all caught the biggest fish they had ever caught and their arms were worn out from fighting big lake trout. The boat is clean and comfortable for relaxing between the chaos of reeling in two or three fish at once. Awesome experience!
